Earth.
Is it weird that a campaign world is called "Mystara", or "The Forgotten Realms", or even "Oerth"...yet you still have an element called "Earth"?
Let's face it. This session was carnage. For the bad guys, admittedly, yes.
For those playing some catch up:
- Earth Elementals. Two of them.
- Lizards. Two of them.
- Stone Giants. Times six.
- One Ascomid (leathery "puff ball" thing).
- Xaren (a Xorn type of creature).
- Gorgons. Two. How good is a Wind Wall in circumstances just like that?
- The "Grues". These guys seem to show up in each node. Not sure if you had noticed.
- Greater Basilisk. You guessed it, times two.
- And finally, that pitched battle where you managed to defeat TWO, count them, TWO fully grown BLACK DRAGONS!
Oh wait. You haven't beaten the Dragons yet. By the timne you read this, the Tigers might have. But most certainly, you have not.
So how is this going to work?
Arnie has Strength, that should help.
There's a Bear the Burden in effect, and a few Stoneskins might still be kicking around.
Wind Wall. Very handy. But gone.
What else do you have up your sleeve?
